At night, you will sink into our beds with mattresses of natural latex (not polyurethane foam) for a complete restful experience. Double glazed window sections shut off external sounds. Individual temperature controls enable you to choose your own temperature no matter how warm or cold the outside is.
Giving rejuvenation a new meaning is our ‘Oxygen Bar’- breathe pure oxygen with a dash of the aromas of your choice.
Another first! At The Basil, we use a unique method for the eradication of the dust mite. This tiny creature preponderates in the recesses of fabric areas and causes extreme allergies and illnesses. Unseen to the naked eye, this mite is truly a health hazard. We use a natural formulated pest control treatment for all mattresses and cushions twice a month. Ensuring your health is uppermost at all times.

We have Conservation at heart:
As part of our ongoing drive for eco friendliness and conservation, the like-minded Guest will be pleased to know that our lighting is not compromised at the cost of high consumption. We use the acclaimed PL lamps that provide as much brightness as ordinary bulbs, at half the energy cost! Your room lights and air-conditioning are powered up by your infra-red key tag and shuts off once you remove the tag while leaving your room.
The bathrooms are eco-conscious too! Special aerators in taps provide the desired jet of water with no wastage or drip saving us and yourself upto 50% in water consumption.
Laundry bag
As part of The Basil’s drive towards eco-friendliness, thoughtfully placed cloth laundry bags find a place in each room. Should a guest desire a bag as a souvenir, each is available at the very nominal charge of Rupees. 150/-.
Lastly, our entire Hotel runs on pure potable water, thanks to our very own water treatment plant.
